Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Paulding County Court Docket. By visiting a page, using a search box, or reading site content, you agree to these conditions. If you do not agree, do not continue to use the site. The terms describe the site's private-reference role, its limits, and the rules that apply to information and links found here. They also address third-party services, use restrictions, intellectual property, liability limits, governing law, and how revisions take effect. The site does not operate an Ohio court docket system or provide court-record access, case files, or a way to change a case.

NO FCRA USE. Paulding County Court Docket is privately owned and operated, with no affiliation to a local, state, or federal government agency or court. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provides a consumer report, credit report, or screening service. The site exists to help visitors locate Paulding County court-docket and case-record resources. It is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, not a government office or court service. We do not maintain official dockets or court records, retrieve a docket for a visitor, change a hearing date, or file documents with a court.

For Paulding County cases, we direct visitors to the record keeper and appropriate court channel. The Common Pleas Clerk of Courts, Legal Division keeps Common Pleas civil, felony, and domestic-relations records, while the separate Municipal Court Clerk keeps lower-court case records. Paulding eServices and the Municipal Court's Record Search are distinct public locating tools, not a combined statewide Ohio trial-court search.

2. Informational Use Only

Site content is general information, not an official docket, court order, or lawyer's advice. Confirm any matter that affects you with the court or clerk that keeps the case. Under the current Ohio Rules of Superintendence, Sup.R. 11.09 through 11.17, court-record access has its own public-access and restriction framework. A Paulding search result is useful for locating a case, not a substitute for direct confirmation or an official copy.

For Common Pleas files, R.C. 2303.12 concerns the clerk's case-file and general-docket duties, and R.C. 2303.901 addresses online access and sensitive personal information. R.C. 149.43 is Ohio's general administrative-public-records statute and does not replace the court-record access rules.

3. Rules for Using This Site

By using this site, you agree not to:

  • Violate federal, state, or local law while using the site
  • Use site information to stalk, harass, or threaten another person
  • Use site information for an FCRA-regulated eligibility decision
  • Attempt to enter our systems or obtain access without permission
  • Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools against site pages
  • Interfere with the site's operation or other visitors' use of it

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Neither we nor advertising partners provide services for FCRA-regulated screening or eligibility decisions. You agree not to use information from this site or a linked tool to:

  • Make a hiring or termination decision
  • Screen a prospective renter or housing applicant
  • Determine creditworthiness or insurance eligibility
  • Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government program
  • Make any other decision regulated by the FCRA

If a legally permitted consumer report is required for one of those purposes, Paulding County Court Docket is not the source for it.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice. We describe court-docket and case-record routes in Paulding County, but we cannot advise how a charge, order, filing deadline, or pending case applies to a particular situation. Consult a licensed Ohio attorney for legal advice.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

The site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

  • Site information is accurate, complete, or current at a particular time
  • The site will remain available without interruption
  • Every page will be free from errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities
  • A result from a sponsor or linked service will be complete or accurate

Dockets change as cases are filed, hearings are set or continued, and matters are sealed, dismissed, or amended. Paulding County Court Docket does not issue official statements for a court or clerk. The Municipal Court warns that online filing and action information can take at least 24 hours, and sometimes longer, to appear. Verify a docket entry, court date, or copy request with the court that holds the case before relying on it.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Site pages may link to clerk and court websites, official case-information portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Selecting a link takes you to a separate service that we do not control. We are not responsible for that service's content, privacy practices, availability, prices, or terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The text, graphics, logos, and code on Paulding County Court Docket belong to the site or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative material from that content without written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of this site, including a decision made using information found here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, actions, or demands arising from your use of the site or breach of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute arising from use of this site must be filed in a court located in Ohio.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Revised terms take effect when they are posted on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you look up a case or docket for me?

No. This private reference site has no access to a court docketing system. Use the Paulding Docket Search guide to identify the correct official court channel, or contact the clerk that holds the case.

Can you change or confirm my court date?

No. Only the court can set, continue, reset, or confirm a hearing. Use the Court Schedule guide to find the correct calendar route, then verify the date with the owning court or clerk.

Is a docket entry on a linked tool official?

No. A linked public case-information page may help locate a case, but information can be incomplete or delayed. Direct access or an official copy must come from the court or clerk that keeps the record under the applicable Ohio access rules.

Where do I ask a question about these terms?

These terms are stated on this page and may be revised as described above. Nothing in this FAQ creates a court-record, legal-advice, or case-status service.
