Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Search fields that appear on this site are provided by third-party services. A query entered into one of those tools is sent to the provider that operates it under that provider's practices. We do not store or log the search terms entered through those tools on our end. Paulding County Court Docket also does not maintain a court-record database or retain the official case information that a court or clerk controls.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we retain the message so that we can respond. We do not disclose a message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most websites, our servers may receive technical information associated with a visit. That information can include:
- The IP address assigned to the device used for the visit
- The browser and browser version in use
- The device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is supplied
- The date and time of each page request
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and analytics tools to understand site traffic and performance. Cookies are small files placed on a device. Browser controls may be used to limit or block cookies, although some site functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
We use the information described above to operate and improve the site. In particular, it may be used for:
- Keeping the site available and helping pages load reliably
- Passing a search request to the service that operates the search tool
- Assessing which pages visitors use and where improvements may be needed
- Investigating and correcting technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may be tailored to interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Paulding County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain official dockets or personal case-record databases. It provides guidance about where Paulding County records are held. Common Pleas public case information is available through Paulding eServices, while the separate Municipal Court provides its own Record Search. Those resources can help locate a matter, but this site does not represent that either portal publishes every document or produces an official result.
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes available on some pages. Information submitted through a tool is subject to that provider's privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing practices, not this policy. We do not control those practices, so review the provider's policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
This site links to court, clerk, and other official resources, as well as to third-party services. A link takes you to a separate website governed by its own privacy policy. Read that policy before providing personal information there.
An official court link is not a promise of a statewide Ohio case search or of public online document images. For Paulding court records, the appropriate court or clerk remains the source for a verified docket entry or copy. Advertising partners may also conduct cross-site activity tracking on their own systems to deliver targeted advertising.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Information may be disclosed to the following categories of recipients when needed:
- Search providers that process a query submitted through their tools
- Analytics providers used to measure traffic and site performance
- Advertising networks that serve ads on site pages
- Law-enforcement agencies or government bodies when a valid legal obligation requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
We use reasonable security practices to protect information we collect. No internet-connected system can guarantee complete security, so we cannot promise that an unauthorized access or loss will never occur.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that a minor has provided personal information, we will remove it as appropriate.
Your Data Rights
Ohio court-record access is governed by the current Rules of Superintendence, Sup.R. 11.09 through 11.17. For Common Pleas records, R.C. 2303.12 addresses the clerk's case-file and general-docket duties, and R.C. 2303.901 addresses online access and protected personal information. R.C. 149.43 is Ohio's general statute for administrative public records, not the rule that makes this private site a court-record repository.
For personal information held by this site, you may make a request, subject to applicable law and operational requirements, to:
- Receive a copy of information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete information we have retained
- Opt out of certain processing activities
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy from time to time. Any revision will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
